Listing Date: May 10, 2013 Location (County): Cumberland Minimum Fostering Commitment: 6 months All Veterinary Care Provided Pet Food Provided Personality Description: Dash and Violet are brother and sister and about 4 years old. They are both declawed strictly indoor cats. Dash is very outgoing, almost dog-like. He loves company and talking to people. Violet is shy at first, but very loving when she gets to know someone. They do well with other animals (we have both cats and other dogs in the house) as well as children. They would love a quiet home where they can hog all of the attention, but would do fine anywhere they can be together. Reason Needing Foster Home: I am currently a military dependent, who is also in the veterinary field. My husband is being stationed overseas for 3 years, and we can only take 2 of our animals. I have been able to find foster homes for the remainder of our animals, except for two of my cats. We want to be reunited with our animals when we return stateside. We are grateful for any help. Listing Date: May 22, 2013 Location (County): Catawba Minimum Fostering Commitment: 3 months All Veterinary Care Provided Pet Food Provided Pet Litter Provided Personality Description: Ferdinand is a domestic shorthair orange tabby cat, neutered and declawed. He is three years old and weighs about 14 pounds. He is VERY sweet and friendly to all creatures, human and animal alike. He has a lot of energy and likes to run and play. He can be a bit nervous and anxious, but he typically does well with lots of love and attention. He is very healthy and has all his shots, including rabies, distemper, and feline leukemia. I just need someone kind to take care of him during the summer. Reason Needing Foster Home: I am a grad student doing an summer internship in Seattle, and I need someone to care for Ferdinand while I am away. I will provide food, litter, and toys, and can offer a small amount of pet rent. He will need care for three months (June, July & August), and then I will pick him up in early September when I go back to school. Anyone able or willing to help would be greatly appreciated.
